Terms of Use

These terms apply when you download or play Jade Mahjong (“the app”), made by an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Google Play’s terms also apply to downloads and purchases made through Google Play.

Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and play the app on devices you own or control. We may end this licence if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Coins, stars and rewards

Coins, stars, tiles, backgrounds, event tokens and other rewards in the app are part of the game. They have no real-world money value, cannot be bought with money, and cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged or refunded. We may rebalance how they are earned and spent.

Jade Mahjong Pro

Where Pro is offered, it is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Pro removes ads and lets you receive rewards that would otherwise need a video instantly, for as long as the app is offered.
Pro is linked to the Google Play account used to buy it. You can restore it on a new device from Settings > Restore purchase.
Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. This does not affect your rights under consumer law.

Saved progress

Saving your progress with Google is optional and free. We take care to keep it working, but cannot guarantee that saved progress will always be available, so it is offered as a convenience. You can delete it at any time in Settings.

The free version shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Watching an optional video is always your choice. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for their content, products or services. If you see an inappropriate ad, please tell us.

Fair play

Please do not copy, modify, redistribute or resell the app; reverse engineer it, except where the law allows; interfere with its ads, purchases or security; or use automated tools to generate rewards or ad activity.

Ownership

The app, including its code, artwork, music, sounds, layouts and text, belongs to us or our licensors. Typefaces used in the app (Atkinson Hyperlegible and Noto Serif TC) are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.

A game, not a medical product

Jade Mahjong is made for enjoyment and gentle mental exercise. It is not a medical product and does not claim to prevent, diagnose or treat any condition. Take regular breaks, especially if your eyes or hands feel tired.

Updates and availability

We may update the app, and add, change or remove features or content. We try to keep the app working well but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Jade Mahjong Pro. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections about ownership, disclaimers and liability continue to apply afterwards.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, the new terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
